Title: door regulator

hi guys

looks like my drivers window regulator has gone
Ive looked through my bentely manual
and it seems to be that i have to remove the outer door skin the door!!!!
surely there must be a easier way
any help would be grateful

If its the motor or control unit then you can access them by removing the inner door card

hiya

not too sure
it was making starnge noises and then the window stopped moving but the motor
could still be heard
I assumed the regulator was shagged
if the door skin has to come off how difficult would it be????
