Title: Quick satnav opinions please

Wife and daughter heading off on a weeks hols in her new Cooper s. I'm getting her a satnav in the next 3 hours to take the strain out of the journey south..... Any opinions on the TomTom Xl iq? There's a version 1 or a version 2, the latest version boasts simpler menus but reviews are saying they've taken features away. 


Anyone running one of these?

get a garmin both my mum n dad loved theirs over tomtom and i have to agree.

so much easier to use

Get the version one as the version two has loads of features removed to simplify the menu as you mentioned. I bought the Tomtom one Europe IQ version 1 a month ago for the same reason.

Can't fault the TomTom One IQ routes europe i have for the work chariot  :happy2:

I have Version 2. No idea how it differs from Version 1, but it is great nonetheless.
