Apple have released IOS 4.0.1, anyone tried it?, I can't as I want to preserve my jailbroken 3GS
Be interested to see if they have modified the signal bars and if they have resolved the bluetooth problems
Not sure what Apple are playing at apart from trying to force the hads of the jailbreakers as they released 4.1 beta last night

you wanna sack sky off!!! VM all the way!
Btw, i doubt they will have done anything other than rush this out to trick people into thinking their iphone 4 antenna works.
any other issues will have been put on the back burner whilst apple sorts this monumental issue out, or at least try!

Not yet
My old bootrom 3GS was was jailbroken on 3.1.2 and that allowed me to go upto 4.0 and keep my jailbreak
No jailbreaks available for newer 3GS or iPhone 4's yet

just running the 4.0.1
No real noticeable difference!
-
I was surprised at how big the download is.

Have they really fixed the formula? It just looks like they've added a bar to the end and took the bottom one away cos the lowest is now slightly higher and the right end is a bit bigger lol

Yeh, much quicker that the 4 update but then it should be as its not as much surely.

I upgraded mine this morning only took 20 mins....have to say I havent noticed any improvement as yet in the signal issue...
I have an apple bumper, it does NOT fix the issue in my case I still lose bars as before...mind you I have yet to see the "Network Lost" pop up as before.

i downloaded the new update this morning for my iphone 4, i can still cause the signal drop when covering those black strips..
funnily enough I was on the tube in central London this avo, the Victoria line which is pretty deep underground, and it was showing 1 bar on the screen when I took it out my pocket to play real racing.... :rolleye:
