thats sounds good, but the A10 thunderbolt sounds better.  nothing compares to the sound of one of them on a strafing run

Oh yes...saw these at RAF Holbeach Range...the Jags and F1-11's were pretty impressive too...

Thrust Vectoring and Fly by Wire - FTMFW

I remember when tornado's and bucc's and Jags did displays it was just woosh from left to right and then woosh from right to left, I live near Warton and remember Eurofighter (Typhoons) first flight and after that they were working up a display but remembering in awe that the whole display just stayed within the airport fence, so much power so much turning performance.

What was really scary was the slow flight high alpha pass - 80 Knots on one pass - 500 Knots the next  :rolleye:

Theres not an aircraft in the world that would come near it in fact in a recent exercise in Canada it won 144:Nil , they're struggling to find adversarys that are pushing its pilots.....maybe they cold ship the Israeli's over with some F15's, they may get near em

F22 was flying over our office on Friday. Got some good views of it twisting about. Also saw the Dreamliner aloft, it's a pretty distinctive silhouette from the ground.

Dunno what's around later today, didn't see the Vulcan, got a nice picture of the Red Arrows, been a couple of small prop stunt aircraft playing around.

Looking forward to seeing the F35 flying around for the first time!

Look what came out to play this afternoon!

Did a few loops and barrel rolls, and then did that funky thrust vectoring thing, which was strange to see.
I can't wait to see the F-35!
