Hi there lads my gti mk5 has no power loss but when my cars boosting up im getting a sound of a  lot of what sounds like air loss is this normal?ive got no mods its standard could it be the dv?

Yep sounds like DV or a hose somewhere  :smiley:

A quick bit of logging with VCDS will be able to confirm if you are suffering from a boost leak.

Boost leak is my bet.  Check the intercooler hoses and i think you will find one is dislodged.

I have no idea whats vcds is :sad1:
Im hoping to get into awesome soon for a service so they can have a look at it for me.
Its running very well no smoke no oil burning and its only got 25k on the clock
