Title: Seat height adjuster inserts

Just bought some of these from eBay however don't know how to get the colour showing through the lettering. Did a quick search and a few people have said they've used electrical tape. Is this the best thing to use? As I can't imagine the quality being that good and also don't they fade pretty quick? If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Also just bought some autohaus number plate surrounds, is this an easy Job? Never done any of these things before so bit of a novice. Cheers chaps.

Anyway just incase it was me,I used some thin red card.Just enough to cover the lettering leaving plenty of room for some thin dbl sided tape to hold them down with.
I cut mine from the folder developed photographs come in,it was exactly the right shade for me.

Oh...If you bought them from anyone else,..The ignore the above.... :booty:

Hi! To be honest if I knew you did them on here I would have definatly got them through you. However on eBay I searched and it only brought up one for the gti and one for the r32. So I'm guessing they must be from you?! Thanks for your advice anyway.

The other GB company that bought from me then copied has my ebay description verbatim.minus my forum name of course.Worldwide there are 5 in total that bought bulk from me then set up themselves.But at least they left me good feedback on ebay..

You should ask them to remove the pic seeing as they did,nt ask permission

I launched these april 08.. you were one of the first to receive them for feedback,since then I ,ve sold them pretty much to every VAG country.Wish I,d stuck a pin in my world map for every one.
