Dont like doing this as i know quite a few people are on the look out for these but....
Does anyone know this car?

What are peoples opinions, i am thinking of going to look at her but she is a few hours away so it would be grate if anyone knows the history of the car. Personaly think its a good spec but a touch pricey. Looks like an after market Parrot kit. I have suspitions of retro fit sat nav aswell. Whats the easiest way to check if its been retrofitted?
All opinions very much welcomed.

HUMMMM !
I would say it is at least 1.5k over priced TBH.
I am sure someone may correct me but i think it has Xenons aswell !
Plus Highline and MFSW !
The only way to check is to look at the paperwork from when it was bought for the satnav, TBH ! That Parrott kit looks rubbish hanging out the side !
Edition 30 ! Great choice, colour (black is faster though), perfect for MODDDIIINNGG !!!!!
Remap, Remap , Remap !
:happy2: :happy2:

Thats the thing, i have been moaning a fait bit recently because most Ed30's seem to be over priced. Its almost as if everone has stuck an extra £1k on the value...

Market forces decide the sale price of a car not the seller. If you want the car offer what you think its worth and can afford. If you dont get it move on to another one until you get what you want, if this goes on for a while then you obviously dont have enough to get the car you want. And its the exact opposite for the seller. If it is over priced then it wont sell and he will have to keep reducing the price until he gets lucky or the price reaches correct market value. :happy2:

Garages who see a satnav and MFSW think they are worth more than they are !
But to be fair to retrofit these two you would be looking at £800 ! so its whether you think the extras are worth it for you !
But that still makes it £1k to expensive !

Price wise, i've just seen a silver 3dr dsg 2008 with 26k on for £16km which i thought was about right.

That is good !

Maybe a couple hundred over but it's a very high spec car. The RNS is not retrofitted, note the shark fin aerial and bee sting aerial combo on the roof (found on later models instead of just the shark fin).
(just posted the same on that other forum but this one is more popular so should help other users in the future).

Just got back from a four hour round trip. Deal is done on a 2008 Pirelli, 5 door, dsg, touch screen sat nav rsn510.
Got murdered when P/xing mine but hey you only live once.
-
Pirelli, link please, where you find?
If you dont want to post details then pm would be appreciated, im looking at the moment. All i get is dealers not willing budge on silly prices!
Just looking at trader and pistonheads + main dealers, any other sites i can check?

Autotrader mate.
No negotiation on price and i got a pretty poor p/x offer but hay after selling my mkV gti and R32 i just wanted to get back into a Golf after 2 years away. Keep looking mate one will turn up.

Certainly looks to be a very nicely spec'd example and in the best colour too
ED30 pricing can be all over the place lately, seen 07's in fairly basic spec via main delaers up at 17K yet my cousins with DSG/xenons etc went via here for 12K... :surprised:
