Title: itg vs VF intake
Post by: edd666999 on July 22, 2010, 10:51:54 pm
Any differences between the two i should know about?

i want an ITG (for no reason apart from the way it looks)

i could have an VF intake for similar sort of money, is one better than the other? or is it basically personal preference?

i think the VF has a 3" diameter maf housing, so i think the remap wold need to e written to take this into account.  GIAC map for this but im not sure on everyone else.

the ITG has the std size MAF housing diameter so all maps will be fine with it.  Hvae you not considered the forge twintake as well.  my choice would be ITG or forge

.
Same as Sy: Choose between ITG and Forge Twintake. Also, VF's have been known to break the engine fixing plate.
