looked at forge kit mate yeah...... not been overly impressed with their stuff in the past
just wish samco did coolant sets :confused:

Ive used them too for a reducer. Used the ebay store. very helpful :happy2:

I have a set of their intercooler hoses, I will hopefully get round to fitting them soon.

They are only round the corner from me, went down to see them about some hoses the other day when i also picked up a reducer but they said at the min they can only do very basic stuff. :sad1:

Btw, if using any aftermarket hoses, I would strongly recommend using stainless steel jubilee clips. Much more corrosion-proof and hence easier to undo etc, also look much better.

They were poorly designed but are strong and with modifications they are now performing as intended. I dont know how many times they had revised these but i call at least twice.

Are your SFS hoses the later versions with the flattened area behind the rad fans as per the pics below, or are they the first versions without the flattening?

....IIRC, on both SAMCO and Forge's web sites. And certainly on the sites of many of their sales agents.

samco dont do a set and im not convinced the rest use pics of the actual mk5 kit hence why asking the question.

These are pics from the forge site but cant make out all the hoses from the images above but someone might be able to confirm?

I wonder if Dubtek ever sold that ~~elephant's penis~~ intake - I expect he ebay'd it.

Personally I don't like the coloured water/coolant hoses - Looks very 'bitty'. I'd have them in black silicone with stainless jubblee's.
