Title: Aluminium strip on dash Ed 30
Post by: Toast on January 28, 2009, 07:35:34 pm
Was wondering how easy the aluminium strip with the Ed 30 badge on the passenger side of the dash comes off and if it can be stuck down ok again or is it a brand new part that would need to go on??

Got an idea of something special

Not sure what you're up to, but might be worth modding base model trim.

dont fret if you do damage your trim, its not as expensive as you might think as alot of mk5 owners swap these out for personal tastes such as CF etc...........or BURR walnut

for example, ive removed all of my trim and am going to be spraying it all in candy white this weekend, in case it looks rubbish or i get it wrong i bought me a spare set, all 5 peices for £20 delivered, as new from another r32 owner

Audi have the new black edition.
I reckon this would be great on an edition 30 , either on a black or maybe even better a red car.
gloss black interior trim, red letters on trim "Black Edition 30 No XXXX" .....mmmm

Not a big fan of walnut/wood trim in a sporty car. In something like a merc, a jag, I'd understand. A GTI? Gimme chrome all the way.
