Title: anyone on here good with video/pc techy stuff?

The camera works perfectly and I can save the files on my laptop as MP4 files but they wont play properly, they are extremely jerky and video playback pauses and resumes constantly. I tried viweing the videos in quicktime, realplayer, WMP, i-tunes but its all the same. The playback on the camera is perfect.

I did a bit of searching and I found similar issues with people attempting to view MP4 HD material on older laptops, is this likley to be the case? will an Ipad play HD MP4 content?

Post by: Poppa Dom on July 27, 2010, 07:39:49 pm: Have you installed the Toshiba software CD to ensure that the correct codecs are installed - jerky playback is often associated with poor in built graphics capabilities of the laptop too.

needed an excuse for an i-pad anyway :wink:
