Anybody bothered with it or have any experience? Bare minimal gains Im guessing but working on every little helps theory...

I had one on mine before i relocated the DV. (Octavia vRS so may help more with K04) Oh and don't you have a Cupra? if so that part wont fit you need this one

Which awesome can get in if you ask them ( i asked Sarah as i wanted one for the DV relocation but was advised that unless i was going over 350hp its not needed)
Made absolutely FECK all difference. But it all helps to make everything run efficiently. I have been contemplating putting it back on recently with the new DV having no diaphragm anymore

I will order the one you linked Carl, Just spoke to Awesome before digging this post back up and they didnt offer a KO4 variant :fighting:
I originally them rang about turbo hoses that fit the APR cooler but im not having much luck with that either :sad1:

You can also get the BSH one though it's expensive but gives you options if you plan to do water meth later.

will take a look hopefully its KO4, JBS do one that's £50 cheaper than awesome but not sure if it's KO4 either

Have a look at SFS boost hoses as they have made a massive difference to my K03 Octy vRS. If you look at the graph I have posted in the MK5 v ED30 topic a few mins ago you can see how its helped with keeping the power in the high rev range. i have got a misfire but I think the car needs new plugs.

was an arse lol, i have the THS IC i have about 5mm clearance.
BSH was the water meth hole :happy2:
They are both the same just abit of metal pipe at the end of the day.
it is a GTI with a k04 :smiley: i will try take some pics tomoz

Pics? I want to try and find out about possible clearance issues with BSH as Awesome are convinced this isnt for me and dont seem to want to sell it me lol

Mike with the bsh or neuspeed throttle body pipe there is very little space between the pipe and the large radiator fan on a Golf so it'll probably be the same for your car. In some cases it could be as little as 2-3mm. :scared:
btw I didn't think Awesome sold BSH stuff... :confused:

Wonder if there's a replacement slimline fan that I could use to make life easier, ordering the BSH on payday while I've still got chance! :scared:

I don't know if it helps Mike but I bought my Bsh throttle pipe from the States and it's currently being fitted along with the S3 engine at Stattlers so may be worth giving Steve a ring to hear his thoughts on whether there are any fitment issues.

Did you just buy it from BSH website? I got my BSH mounts from States but from a tuning company on eBay, how did you pay? I had to pay about 20 - 30 quid in import tax lol

I bought it from Bsh direct in the States, I ended up calling and paying over the phone as I needed it to arrive swiftly with a few other bits, Fed ex delivered within 4 days without any charges around ten days ago but I just received a letter this morning from Fed ex asking for £22 which wasn't bad for over a $1000 order. :happy2:

Ask to speak to Sushile or David, the code from the Uk is 001 and the number is 6026067973, they are in Arizona so 7 hours behind so you can call now and they will just be finishing their lunch :wink:

The BSH throttle pipe definately fits although it is very tight (about 10mm from the fan). Just takes a bit if fiddling to align it up properly. I can't comment on the Neuspeed pipe though.
