Title: Centre Console Swap?

Hi

I have just bought a 57 Jetta 2.0tdi sport and looking to do a couple of things to it. Firstly the centre console does not have the digital heater controls, just 2 knobs that you can turn.

In my previous Golf mk5 GT TDI  these were digital and it looked so much better and was easier to use. I was wondering if these units are a straight swap over?

Also I have air con so I would have to get a centre console with an air con button.

Sounds like you have air con and not climate control. The digital controls only works with climate control, Need to swap more than just the panel i.e the majority of the air con system

thanks for the quick reply, looks as though I am going to have to leave it as it is and find some other way of making it look better.
