Is it even an Edition 30? If not then I would take the badge off honestly.
Just make sure that the insurance company are aware of the add onns, don't give htem any excuse.

Ed30 rear, sides are probably smoothed and colour coded, gti colour coded front skirt. I would just tell your insurer that the car is colour coded with a vw Ed30 rear, and you have window tints.

Can't understand why people badge a gti up as edition 30,  :stupid: ......and worse ...then don't even put it in the right place.  :stupid:

Your car looks good mate, enjoy.

Yes a hairdryer should do the trick nicely.  :happy2:

When I brought my car it had the R line badge on the rear, next to the Edition30 badge! It wasn't even properly aligned or anything, just looked like it had been slapped on!  :stupid:

might sound stupid but use dental floss and a hairdryer to heat up the glue just get the floss in behind the badge and it will come right off then the hard bit will be removing the adhesive but it can be done without damage to the paintwork i managed ok when i swapped my gti badges for red ones

I just used tar remover to get rid of the leftover adhesive residue, worked a treat.
