Title: Castrol Edge 5W-30 for Mk4?

Sorry, I know it's a Mk5 forum, but, the Castrol Edge 5W-30 oil I bought for my Ed30 is surplus to requirements. Is this oil suitable for a Mk4 Golf 1.4S?
