Title: Red Grill Surround - Touch Up Pen Part No.
Post by: rdfcpete on August 03, 2010, 04:00:12 pm
The red GTI front grill surround - anyone know what the VW part number for the touch up pen for that area is please?

I've a few stone chips on the red area that I think can be tackled without any drama with the pen.
Thanks  :happy2:

Do VW do a proper red pen does anyone know?

I'd rather stick with OEM colours  :happy2:

When I originally had my front splitter done on my GTI I was told it was Mars Red or Tornado, can't remember!

I would say it's much more likely to be tornado red than mars, mars is too orange IMHO.

Just buy a few different shades of humbrol paint tins from a model shop & match it up :happy2:
