Just bought a bluefin unit off true-blue and got it loaded onto car.
The car does feel a lot better, I know I should have got revo, but saved £300, so obviously it isnt going to be as good, and wasnt expecting it to be, and had no plans to go to stage 2+ anyway, maybe stage 2 when the exhaust eventually breaks!
I was just wondering what sort of power people usually get with the stage 1 map on an edition30 with the bluefin?
Tried to do some research, and could only find a couple of results of 260 and 312bhp?
Dont really want to put it on the rollers incase I end up getting power hungry

I thought Stage 1 on an Ed30 was ballpark 300bhp, but could be wrong
-
270/310 depending on what month it is and what rollers your on :signLOL:
-
 I agree entirely with above.
It's not all about the peek figures my son :popcornsoda:
-
its all about the curvveee :signLOL:

Yep I know that, or I would have gone Revo :signLOL:
No I was just wondering what sort of the lowest type of figure it would be putting out thats all. My mk4 golf only made 208bhp at PD Tuning, but got 229 at awesomegti.
I was just curious, I was hoping for a ball park figure, as I'm in no hurry to go to a dyno, when I know that the car is a lot better, faster, and has more torque than what did before the remap.
I should drive down to jabbasport as they have the best rolling road in the country for making people happy :jumpmove:
-
ide say u would be hitting between 290-305 ive had bluefin twice now on my ko3 gti and my s3 and ive had no problems and love it
-
On the
Stingiest more conservative rollers at Jkm, mine made 284.6bhp, stage 1.

Thanks for info, its put my mind at ease a bit anyway. So it should easily be running 270bhp then. :happy2:
I wonder what I'll be buying next then......

spent around 10k on bits on my last golf, dont plan on going that far again this time! but so far I've failed in my determination when I bought it, saying '"I'm not touching a thing on this car......" that was £1200 ago. looks like I'm back on teh slippery slope yet again :stupid:
