Title: So, I need a new car
Post by: SteveS on August 05, 2010, 10:21:27 am
As mine has been scrapped, i need another motor..

Simplest option is another Ed30, but i cannot find anything which suites.
- Steel Gray or White, maybe silver..
- Xzenons

Others:
Audi TT (new shape) - 2L comes with 200bph, revo to around 250 stage2... times around 5.5-60?
Nissan 350Z always liked these, but power is down and don't think there is a remap?

Getting 15k for mine, so will add a bit on, but really want to keep it down, already lost way too much...
Don't want an old motor or high miles!

hmm... need help :)

Well no, but it isn't priced like an ED30 either!! Bank the rest and put it towards your next car.

Would all the parts transfer to a 2.0 TFSI TT? If so, and I'm not much of an Audi fan, that would be my choice, providing you can live with the practicality of it.

I think you will be looking at high 5s to 60 with just a remap mate, or low 6s if you go manual on a tt

Has 370 on his bootlid mate. :happy2:

V6 under the bonnet and a electronic convertible roof/mechanicsm/ motor, thats ALOT heavier then the ed30.

strange then, unless parkers.co.uk is completly wrong with its statement of 5.4 (auto) 5.1 (manual?). should be on par with a stage2+ ed30 :-\

wouldnt get convert, coupe only

if my lowly Stage2 keeps with a 370, then a stage2+ will blitz past it.
