Title: loss of power and a hiss??

hi all,

my car went for a re map and would not make any more boost or power.... now the car has become slower and seems to under perform and boost seems restricted.
when on boost there is a constant 'hiss'/whistle from when the turbo cuts in til the end... its like the hiss the dv gives off but constant??

anybody had similar? if there was a boost leak, eg split hose, would the car run rough?

Did you replace the DV?

on my soot chucker i was getting a hissing noise,it turned out to be the inter cooler pipi was half hanging out

DV was torn in 3 places and was replaced with another standard vw DV but the revised version.....
