Er....I didn't put my name down for HPA's version.
Regal DSG Transmission Software
Our DSG software is brand new to the market. Offering the following advantages
* Raised Rev limits in excess of 7000RPM
* Shorter reaction time on Manual shifts
* Two stage throttle sensitivity for differentiation between hard throttle use and Full throttle.
Future development will also see the introduction of enhanced launch control and, for those running big power turbo turbo kits, single gear kickdown (as opposed to the factory 2) to allow the car to come on boost as the lower gear is selected and higher torque limits.
The "winter" and "education" datasets are left alone, so the DSG's ECU will function as normal, no detrimental effects, just improved performance in the areas where it counts!
DSG Transmission Software Retail Price £450 VAGOC member price - £395
The DSG software is the real break through. Flashed through the diagnostic port this is completely un-intrusive mapping of the DSG ECU.
I agree Stu, this is most likely to be a better option. I'm sure that there will be a few more tuners offering this in the near future too. Not a bad price either. I think the HPA version will be over £1k for the stage 3 map.
