could someone take a pic from under the front heated seats
I know its a strange request!!

Dunno if these are any good to you Stu.  Top one is passenger side from the back and the second one is passenger side from the front.  I don't seem to be able to get a photo of much at all under the driver's side.  My camera's not the best to be fair so someone else might get a better result with a more trick camera.

I'm thinking about retro fitting heating seat to my gti
and was told tha they migjht have the pads all ready fitted to
the seats
just checking what it would look like under the seat with them fitted
