Title: GTI/ED30 OEM Pads
Post by: richtung on August 18, 2010, 09:20:38 pm
Hi Folks,

Been advised that i need new rear pads on the ED30. Was quoted £42.39 for a pair from the dealers. Im trying to find some on Euro Car Parts. Would anyone be kind enough to tell me who make the OEM pads? ECP stock Both Pagid and ATE.. not sure which one to choose as both are similar in price.

Thanks

Richard

I would go pagid, these are porsche OE and I use them on my track 911 and they withstand serious high speed punishment, def superior to the OE bosch I have on my GTI

Mine Had Bosch on the box .. Brought from Volkswagen over the counter.

Not uncommon though for manufactures to source from different suppliers though. :happy2:

Another good uprated pad is Ferodo DS2500 or the DS3000 for hard track use. not sure if they do std GTI fitment however!
