Hello all,
As I've said elsewhere - my 2005 GTi is looking a little tired and I am sprucing her up.
One thing is that both keys are a right mess. Scratched and worn etc. I'm thinking I might renew them - but how much do they cost from VW? Is there another source at all?

I'm not sure how much new keys are from VW, but you can buy them on ebay and swap the blades and transponders from yours. The instructions on how to get them to work the central locking are on here somewhere. Don't let VW tell you that you need new keys and a re-code.
