After hearing all the horror stories about Edition 38 I think I may go here instead, and it is just VW, not just German motors

Yeah  :happy2: thought I'd see how it compared to my ed30, pleasantly surprised and enjoying the stick shift. I reckon I can get in low 13s with a bit more launch practice

Good fun trying

Probably will mate to be fair, as I bet it gets off the line a lot better than the ED30. It's the terminals that would be interesting, what did the Porker get out of interest?

Was only 103. Something mph for the terminal so yeah the launch and grip is definitely better but slower in the mid range which I definitely notice, I have been looking for time slip but to no avail but i think 60ft was 2.0 and I was launching at 4krpm, I've been advised to do 6krpm but a bit skint after the passed few moths car issues, so trying to take care of her   :innocent:

I've tweaked her a little bit already though... Ipd plenum, gt3 cup throttle body and uprated air filter , I'm weak  :signLOL:

Do you use a forum for the Cayman James? Is there an UK one? The only one I've seen is a US one.

Ahh interesting! No not swaying at all, but my best mate has recently acquired a lovely Cayman S (was in it all day today) and he said that he couldn't find a useful UK forum! I'll tell him about that meet at Goodwood, I'm sure he'll come along!
