Hi guys.
I apologise for ANOTHER one of these threads. But this is my last I promise.
I contacted Damien at DPM an he reccommended these springs but asked me to check my front axel weight as my car is a DSG.
Will these be okay? http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/ap-20mm-lowering-suspension-springsbr-golf-5-gt-14t-si-gti-20t-fsi-gt-20tdi-1204-p-5952.html
thanks again,
nick

Anyone? :sad1:

I can't find the weight for a MK5
But a MK6 Golf GTi DSG front Axle weight is 1060kg. So assuming it is the same i would say yes just
See here

Edit: A MK5 Edition 30 DSG is 1050Kg so yes you will be fine

Thank you!!! :happy2:
I really owe you one. I'm going to run off and buy them now.

DSG box is about 50-60kg heavier than a normal box, and if they state they are good for a 2.0TDI then a 2.0TFSI even with a DSG I would imagine would weigh less.

That doesn't mean the load on the front axle will be 50-60kg more though.
There is only a 20Kg difference in front Axle load between a Non-DSG & DSG ED30 according to theose manuals i linked :happy2:

Very good point Carl, :ashamed: I still stick by a soot chucker having a heavier front loading :innocent:
