Hi all , new member here , Ive just done the deal to buy an 05 GTI 3 door in Tornado Red. It has the full leather trim inside ,the CD changer in the centre console and 18" wheels which , after perusing your forum I now suspect are Reps and not the real thing (Monzas but plain silver not diamond cut) unless the previous owner had them refurbed that way I guess. Anyhow , I loved the drive , and its got a full VWSH with 37K on the clock , and I think it looks great! Im moving from a 68BHP Skoda Fabia that Ive owned for 5 and a bit years so it should keep me entertained for a while!! :grin: I have owned 3 VWs before but this is the first one thats had water in the engine  :signLOL: I hope it is as good as my old Octavia Mk1 vRS was to drive , and so far the signs are promising :happy2:

Anyway , heres a pic taken off my phone when I done the deal , I pick it up next Wednesday (first time ive ever wanted a weekend to go fast!!) so will stick some more up when ive went over it with my Meguiars shaped magic wand!  :wink:

Oh and Im getting it from Western VW in Edinburgh , through the approved used scheme.

Thanks everyone - deal is done , insurance in place and all I have to do now is wait till Wednesday to pick it up! Then I will be  :driver: back down the A1 with a  :grin: on my face!  :signLOL:

Nothing anymore , but i had 3 Beetles , a 1303 Campaign Ed in Agate Brown , a Boggo 1969 1300 then a 1973 GT In Apfelgrun!

I am picking up my first VW on Fri.

Yours looks very nice and a similar spec to mine, although mine is slightly newer and Reflex Silver.  Can't wait!
