Totally different cars.
The Golf is DSG, so still getting used to that, but loving it at the moment.

Hey bud, welcome!
The RS looks lovely. Not so many around at all now, just tacky reps.
Is that a ten plate MK5 or a private plate?! :surprised:
Lovely GTI, same as mine so you'll only get compliments from this corner :drinking: Any plans?
-
you cant have a private plate that makes the car look newer than it is so it must have been an un-registered MK5.......
-
Welcome and you chose a lovely colour :happy2:
-
i bet you got that for a good price ?????
-
Very nice.
-
The car was registered in June 2010 along with a few others.
They were distributed to the dealers for sale in August.
The dealer I bought it from in London had 5. Mine had 44 miles on the clock.
Well chuffed
-
sooo did you get it for a good price then orrr??????
-
Very nice, I bet 10 plate mk5 golfs are rare!

Indeed mate, first one I've ever seen tbh!
I've seen an 09 R32 before, nothing newer until this... Quite cool :pomppomp:

Welcome welcome.
I saw a '10 plate Mk5 GTi at Solihull VW the other day. Made me do a double take!

Wayne,
Mine was a P reg 2 Wheel Drive. Had Air Con and a sun roof which was unusual for them. Had it since it was 10 months old and sold it last year with 23,000 on the clock.
Never failed an MOT or blew a bulb. GREAT CAR.
Sold in the first day.

Similar spec to mine then, had the heated front screen and I retro fitted the factory CD player/Changer under the drivers seat. Lost 375 on part exing against an Auralis Blue Escort Cossie, the RS2 had 7k on the clock and one previous owner.
