After buying my ED30 privately, didnt have much tread on the tyres, managed to get 2,600 miles out of them when i only expected to get about 1,000 ... anyway, bit the bullet yesterday and decided to go for Michelin Pilot 3's, luckily i got them at trade and had them fitted at work but even so, they cost £256.16 (cant forget the 16pennies!) Back to one side the remap goes :-(
Any one fancy telling me tonights winning lotto numbers? lol

Wise choice of tyres, Becca - All reports about them are glowing :happy2:

I just brought 4 Michelin ps3's even bigger sting! But well worth the money! :happy2:
-
Becca, was that price for 2 or 4 tyres? I paid £280 for 2 at Costco.
-
I just shelled out £365 for 4 Sessantas. It hurts but is worth having the good tyres on.

when i bought my used gti at 3 years and 22000 miles it still had its original tyres on ! even went through mot with only an advisory on tyres.(sport maxx) 1 very carefull previous owner? so put a full set of vreds on and had 4 wheel tracking done ,the guy showed me where the lazers should line up and then started with the spanner work(there was quite a lot of cursing going on )he told me that all the settings were a few degrees out.funny how a new set of tyres makes you feel good.anyway the vreds have been brilliant and lots of people comment on the tread pattern. ps the tyre man also said if i wanted a tyre that lasted i should buy michelin .

I think you have spent your money well !. I paid £500 for 4 and sold my old tyres for £150 ,didnt like the idea of driving around with low tread
-
Becky- Is that for 2 or 4? I take it they were from Harris brothers?
