Title: Ring sportzblue side light bulbs.

Ordered some osram night breakers & some of the above online & they turned up yesterday.Having read the packet the sportzblue came in it says show use only ?. Have any of you fitted them & had any probs with the law or m.o.t. time ?.Thanks & any easy way to change the sidelight bulb ? had a look in the rear of the light & can't even see the holder never mind pull it out to change it  :grin:.I've heard they are a righr tw*t to change.

Fitted the nightbreakers  :happy2:

I changed my sidelights from the yellow halogen type to led ones,
Bit of a bugger to get the holder out,
You have to somehow get a grip on it with the tips of your fingers and give it a good pull sideways towards the engine.

I know you are talking about sidelights, but if its of any use I used to have the Ring Sportzblue bulbs as my normal headlights (dipped beam H7 bulbs), and in my opinion they were unrivaled. Pure white light with a hint of blue. Many people actually thought I had xenons. Highly recommended! Also I never turned my lights off (literally), and only one bulb blew in the course of 2 years.

They were 80W bulbs though, which I gather are illegal for road use. I didn't have any issues with the law, and I don't know about MOT as I never kept the car long enough!

Thanks guys. I've stuck them on ebay & ordered ''legal'' side light bulbs.
