Title: Need exhaust gasket?

I'm going to be swapping my one piece OEM backbox for another of the same:

Probably a stupid question - but I assume these also will need a new gasket at the join when fitting?

No gasket, just a sleeve that goes over the top of both parts and joins them.

As long as the bolts are not rusty you should be ok with your sleeve thats on.

Thanks :)  That explains the sleeve which I see on replacement one I've bought, which I've never seen on previous cars I've had (always needed gaskets).
