I sometimes wonder whether this forum should be renamed to Mk5GolfGTI-and-AppleUpdates.co.uk :stupid:

Am I the only one whose Macs inform me of updates automatically?

Depends on when you last updated, what software you have installed, what the update schedule is for that software. Some people run manual updates (me being one of them) rather than automatic updates.

So when an update is released i let people know that it is available. Hence the reason they get posted in Random Chat

You don't have to read read the threads no one is forcing you too!  :drinking:

Perhaps the guvnor would give us an Apple sub forum which would mean you wouldn't need to read any of the posts

I don't see the problem.

If your not interested just don't read them. As i said earlier no one forces you to and some people find them useful.  :drinking:
