Title: DSG gearbox oil & filter change

I had a new gearbox computer (mechatronics?) fitted earlier this year by my local VW dealer under warranty. Could anyone tell me if they would have had to change the gearbox oil and filter as part of this repair?

The VW dealer says it was not change.

Yes mate. If new mechatronics is fitted then it will have the oil and filter renewed regardless of how recent it has had one. I know this because mine was done a week after the DSG box was serviced..   :wink:
This is what I was told by my dealer anyway.
