Hi lads, do any of you'd know if eibach shoreline springs from a Leon will fit a golf Gti wit dsg without any probs?
Have any of you's done it before?
The springs are for the cupra.
-
If its the sportline kit you mean then the springs are the same and will fit fine.
-
Oh yeah I meant sportline,
Thanks for the reply.
Will it make a difference mine being dsg?
Will the drop be different?
-
In My catalogue the DSG is listed as a different spring rate (higher poundage)
-
PDT will that cause problems fitting springs to a dsg that are for manual?
-
front will sit a bit lower as the srings coils will be compressed a bit more, ride may feel a bit soft also. might dive a little to much when cornering.
get the right springs
-
Ok will do PDT,
Thanks for the replies lads.

My Eibach Book Says:
Leon Cupra (1P) - Kit number E20-81-009-02-22 - Front springs - F21-15-007-02-VA - Rear Springs - F21-85-014-01-HA
VW Golf MK5 GTi DSG - Kit number E20-85-014-02-22 - Front springs - F21-15-007-02-VA - Rear Springs - F21-85-014-01-HA
So the kit numbers are different, but the springs that are in the boxes are the same between both kits.
Both cars have the same front and rear loads.

My catalogue has different kit numbers and different spring part numbers as well as a note to check vehicle weights before ordering.
