As title says, anybody know a good glass cleaner/polish. Everything I use leaves a streak once the sun hits the glass. Looks good until its sunny.

-
What are using in terms of cloth? A proper glass cleaning cloth won't leave streaks.

I don't like the one from halfrauds except for general cleaning eg just giving a quick wipe.

....Please educate some of us about which are the proper cloths. Thanks  :happy2:
-
use a proper glass microfibre one.

ive recently bought Lusso Glass Polish and it does the job nicely.

also friendly to film tinted glass which is just what i was looking for.,

What happened to good old newspaper? It's always served me well

-
Mr muscle & good old news paper.

				^^^^
Doesn't newspaper deposit printing ink on the glass?

Or does it depend whether it's The Sun or The Guardian?  [I only collect Page Three so I can clean my windscreen?]
-
Dont you feel like a tit doing that Robin :signLOL:

Newspaper is meant to be good as the carbon in the print is meant to leave a nice shine to the glass.

A glass cloth is a very fine microfibre cloth but ive found a normal microfibre does just a good job.

On my glass I just go over it with quick detailer when im doing my paint but every so often I give it a polish with AG glass polish. On the interior I use Stoners Invisible glass and it is very very good and leaves no streaks at all.

As stated by B3n, these are very fine microfibre cloths. If you could describe a normal mF cloth as "bushy", you would describe a fine one as "prickly".

I use the standard halfrauds one (with netting on one side) if I'm out and about. The other thing with glass cleaners is not to apply too much product.

Comercially available - Autoglym Fast glass gave me results i was always pleased with but at about £7 a bottle it got costly

Trade - Nielsen Blue Window Clean is awesome only costs about £15 for 5ltrs and it cleans really well, it also gave me a slight rain-x protection.
-
i use meguirs glass cleaner concentrate..leaves no streak at all

-
I use AG Glass polish and a optic cloth off AS.Normal microfiber cloths leave the fibers on the glass!!!

-
auto glym fast glass, and a glass cleaning micro fibre.. perfect finish everytime  :happy2:

-
I use Fast Glass, too. As for cloths, pah, I use good old kitchen roll!

-
for aplication I find kitchen roll is ideal

then a wipe with a microfibre to remove any residue/streaking  :happy2:

Also, rainX do a nice combined 'cleaner/rain repellent' which is v.good this time of year
