Hi people my fully comp insurance states that ive got like for like on a courtesy car does that meen i could have a hot hatch as a courtesy car?

i seriously doubt it LOL, it probably means if you have a mk5 golf you will get something of similar size like a Astra, focus etc

^^^ Yup. It will be a midsized car as opposed to a supermini or saloon.

not sure tbh honest, a friend of mine had a 1996 astra gsi and when he had a prang he was given a new TT as a courtesy car.
Best way to find out would be phone your ins company i think

I got a f :fighting:n Panda the phone line to my insurance co was a like tourets convention.
when i first got into it and drove to the petrol station and got out a seagull dropped a big dod of poo onto it - touche!
my insurance compant said thats all the acc repair centre have, most just keep low cost cack.

you will get something with power.

my insurance is the same, my gti went in a got a 2.5TDI alfa, which to be fair wasn't slow. But they said they have mk6 gti's (prob only 1 that's always out)
