I just found out today this is available for the cupra/ed30. I have done a search but not found out much about it.
Does anyone have this on the K04 & what are peoples thoughts about the kit? Its a lot cheaper than ITG/Forge/Evoms at about £230 delivered.
Cheers
Dave

I have got a Neuspeed P-flo intake on my car but it is a K03 not a K04. Compared to a Pipercross Venom that I briefly tried, the Neuspeed fits a lot better. I have not tried or heard the ITG or the Forge ect so I cannot comment on those.

I looked at the Neuspeed P-flo, but decided against in favour of the EVOM's. There were a few reasons.....
1. There is no separation of the filter from the engine bay area with the P-flo, but the EVOM's has an extra shield.
2. The P-flo mounts onto the engine block using an unused bracket that can and does tend to break, then there is nowhere to fix the P-flo to.
3. EVOM's had shown positive gains, yet I hadn't seen any proven gains from the P-flo at the time (still haven't)

Thanks for the replies.
Im not after huge power gains as im only going to stage 1 my car but im wanting more noise. I like the look of the Evoms but its a lot more money & didnt know if it was worth the extra seeing as im not chasing figures.

i lost a large amount of G/S with my air flow fitting the pipercross intake in comparison to the standard intake. consequently i gained a sh!t load of air flow with my ITG.
what im saying is although you dont have to buy the top of the range intake for gains, dont just settle for the cheapest as it might not actually be any good.
if you want a baragin intake that guys have used and made big power with then id say try th BSH trueseal intake. dubtek knocks these out for around £150 iirc

he's always good for a deal

Another piont to take note - i dont think the neuspeed intake has a take off for the k04 diverter valve so something may have to be bodged for that.
