can they come off without breaking?

dare i say it, i have the red badge atm and was thinking of swapping back to a silver one... if they come off without breaking, then im up for a simple exchange

I take it you mean the GTI badge?. Never taken that one off but changed the VW one,spray loads of wd40 towards the back of the badge,leave a couple of mins & then turn a quarter anti clock wise & out it comes.

take the whole grill off and on the back you'll see plastic clips which are holding the GTI badge :happy2:

lol it's not hard mate,

Open bonnet
Two Torx screws on top of the grill either side (think it's Torx 20)
Two X head screw under numberplate in the center lower grill

and just lift up the grill  :happy2:

removed it completely for now :)
