Hi Guys,
I'm sure this is a question that has been asked 1000's of times. But using the search function i confused myself even more!
I need to top up the oil in my 2007 Edition 30. It's on the long life plan if that makes a difference? And its on 38,500k miles.
So which oil? :happy2:
Cheers chaps, have a nice weekend.
Nick :drinking:

Shell Helix have a VW suitable oil.
-
Whats the spec number to look for on the bottle for the TFSI engine?
-
On the packet it will say for VW Petrol Turbo Engines. The spec will be in your owners manual.

you need some 5W-30 oil and it should be 504 00 i have used castrol edge in the past

VW approved to standard 504 or something. 5W-30 so Castrol is usually recommended. I go for the SLX variety.
