Title: Emblem shadow

Hi all. New on here and to GTI's, but I love my beasty despite a few teething problems (broken DV). Have bought a black emblem for the front and have started doing a red shadow thing.
Will post pictures after.

Got a photo of my emblem just after painting.
I just finely sanded and painted on with a brush.
Did three coats of paint and I used tornado red.
I haven't yet seen one with a matte finish on the black VW bit but I'm sure someone will correct

Picture on my UG GTI. Was thinking of doing something with the GTI badge. Ideas?

No I have not seen any yet.. When I get home from this work trip I might just tear apart my hatch to color match everything and paint the emblem black.

Some people have had the GTI on the front replaced with the red GTI emblem with a chrome edging - looks good too. :smiley:
