Hi there new to this site and mk5 so ill update you all with my car and pics

bought this just over a month ago on 63k

next up was a carbonio

also got my hands on a ED30 steering wheel and gear stick no pics


Next up was some wheels

I went with MERC segins also added some eibach springs as a temperary drop, plan on getting KW varient 1's

Next on the list is a Remap, cant decide what one to go for Revo or CC. Also undecided on the exhaust want a milltek but unsure if i want to go R32 style wich adds the cost of colour coding everything and a new rear bumper . whats your thoughts ?

Boxer... how are ya?

Just a quick question about your carbonio... did you manage to fit both of the torx screws back to attache it to the gril? mine doesnt seem to want to slot it so i just put one screw back in... seems ok!

Looks ace that does mate, really like the front, red strip on the red motor makes it stand out nicely.
If I were you j would go for he magnetic number plate method.
If you are unsure how to do it just type in magnetic number plate on the search function at the top, that's how I have had mine fitted on the us sped grille.

IM sure it will be an easy fit... looks like the right hand peg just needs tweaking the back box is level. Looks great tho.. millteks look brilliant!  :notworthy:

Finnaly smashed it with some KW's

They came off a K1 cant seem to get the front down low enough, any thoughts if this is because of them being K1 non DSG btw

A little but not mapped stage 2 yet, not sure if it's because of the ic or the new hoses but getting more of a air rushing noise.

Bought some sucker cups (again from eBay  :ashamed:) glued them to the number plate

Really happy with the fit once licked and put on the car they don't budge, pull off easy enough though for the shows

Loving that front end, nice touch painting the middle of the splitter too. Not to sure on the wind deflectors though. Do they make a big difference? :smiley:

Yeah no more rain over the window switches. And less buffeting on the motorway I'm not 100% myself yet keep catching the corner of my eye while driving

Got the wheels back from aps in Swansea went for a polished dish and anthracite

But then his rear window will get dirty!

Always like the look of the blank rear window, but have to put practicality ahead of looks imo. (says the man with airride..... :grin:)

The plates are cut from steel and are on eBay I just put some red electrical tape underneath before applying

Where did you buy the front grill from? Ive found a couple on fleBay but there made in china or sumwhere and didn't know what the quality is like?

Latest mods put all updated engine mounts on and added a .:R32 rear bumper and exhaust

Just got back from the nurburgring car performed well got a little warm in the 35c heat

Top work, Looks brilliant with ED30 splitter and skirts coded, i preferred GTI rear valance though.

Is it on CH's on track there? Would look better with them too!  :happy2:
