Title: McRae 2010 - sad end

Yesterday during a rally stage in Perthshire which was being held in memory for Colin McRae, former SRC Jimmy Girvan, 56 sadly died doing something he loves.

Thats the way that CM would have liked to have gone no doubt - shame he went in the way he did - a copy of the accident report on the helicopter incident came across my crewroom and was totally avoidable.

But I echo the sentiment - you see how sterile F1 is now a days and then imagine Spa with no run off/barriers and trees everywhere, these WRC guys are probably the bravest lot in motorsport imho
