Nice, the colour coding is working really well :happy2:
-
Very stealth .Where is the front number plate ?
-
cheers guys - what number plate ?!!
wanted to tie the style in with the detroits, so went for the satin black mirrors, mask and front part of the Ed30 splitter. Toying with the idea of a satin black GTI badge.
I'm stuffed if i change the rims again!!

Looking great that mate,
Think it may have convinced me that I can get away with a black front VW badge, and probably carbon mirrors too.
Got any more pics?
What is it that you had done to it recently?
-
Ooooooooooohhh1 loving that!
-
Very nice! :happy2:

Looks awesome. The colour coding works well.

What about a red GTI badge where you fill in the red bit (so black lettering with silver outline)?
-

Hey Gaz,
Got it painted at Kandy Paint Shop just off Manchester Rd - if you spot the sign for 'Taskers Nightclub' and go through the archway you will spot it. Ping us a PM if you need better directions :happy2:

Your car looks really good. The only thing I don't like is the black wheels, but it would be a dull world if we all liked the same things!
If I were you, I'd get the brake calipers powder coated silver to match the bodywork and grille stripe. That would tie it in very nicely :happy2:

I wasn't overly keen with the detroits at first - so much so that i bought a set of VZ's then a set of Pescaras. Now i've pretty much styled the car around them. They grow on you after a while! I was worried that they would make the car look chav - hopefully it doesn't!
Will be getting the calipers sorted very soon and bang the pescaras on for winter :)
-
Was your car at VWNW, near the adventure playground?
-
Yeah on the first row minus the recent changes :happy2:
Take it that you spotted it mate - didn't think it was ready for the stand
-
Well funnily enough I had a good look at it. I'd always been keen on Detroits but had only seen them in photos, so yours was the first car I'd seen in the flesh with them on. A few weeks later, courtesy of Nathan, I had a pair in my possession. I absolutely love them, they look so so much better in real life than any photo seems to portray. So, cheers!
