Hi guys, I'm a little confused with the actual names for the GTI wheels, are the standard 17" wheels called Denver's and the upgraded 18" wheels Monza's?
Also whats the difference between a Monza and a Monza II?? lol
Confusing stuff for a newbie :ashamed:
cheers guys

Hi mate,
Both called Monza, Monza 2 is the 18" version though.
( I think that is the case anyways)

The Minza 17" was called Denver in some markets, and the Monza II's were called detroits. But in the UK the Monza is the standard 17" and the Monza II is the 18" diamond cut face version.

Yup Al is spot on.
Monza's only called 'Detroit' when they are finished satin black. Available on the German ED30 and not a factory option in the UK but is now a dealer accessory. :happy2:

Ah right cool thanks guys, I was really confused lol

they do a monza shadow as well. this is the same as the monza II but has a darker inner (nearly black) and is an optional wheel for the MK6.

These are the Malaysian pdf links which show them describe Monza II's as Detroits, and Monza 17" as Denvers crazy Malaysian fools, they also have a golf S model!!!! :stupid:
