Washed the car and tucked it up for my next trip away, but found some time to wax too
Coat of ZymoI Concours, usual slick of tyres, polish exhaust.
Took some time over the interior, wet vac'd the carpets with Meg's APC and extracted with the Vax.
Will get new carpets come 'summer'.
Back out of the garage:

Decided to take the car for some pictures at the bottom of the street, and this critter came out, following another!
I have hit one at the bottom of my road before, hardy buggers. Cracked a fog light, bumper and number plate on my last car.

Back to the house, high pressure rinse of the wheels with my new Kranzle weapon, then blow the water out with the leaf blower. Dry.
Then, another coat of ZymoI, Destiny this time :)
Buffed off, and tucked away for another month until I return from the seas.

Sitting a bit high at the back, approx 15mm, as the spacers fairly pushed the last wheels out. Will sort when back home.
Need to get leather done next, and going to try and find some summer 19's...
Cheers,
Mark.

-
looking great matt, as said on DW! ;)
-
I'm not a fan of the red wheel caps but the black car+red stripe + grey/silver bit looks very nice! Think it works better than on a CW one!
-
Stunning!!
Its amazing how good those 18" BBS look when lowered. I keep thinking their 19"s!
Sorry if I've asked you this before, but what do you use on your tyres??? Looks great.
-
stunning
-
Looks shiny as fook, top job :happy2:
-
Thanks for all the comments folks :)
Yea, I am just going to keep the car now. Got a few plans which will be executed over summer.
The tyres are Yokohama Parada Spec 2, pretty decent tyres imo.
Thinking of new rear badge, rear vw badge done grey. Wheels, grey to match grille (similar to my merc wheels). Custom mirror covers, engine cover etc. Most importantly, leather retrim.
-
^^ Oops, my apologies if I wasn't very clear :ashamed: :ashamed:
I meant' what tyre dressing do you use to make them that shiny! I've yet to find the perfect tyre product!
-
That really is beautifully clean!
Black looks awesome when its clean like that - but you tend to see swirls in it easy if not careful! And I HATE it when people open their doors onto your car in carparks!
-
thats why i park as far away from the shop as poss. i take up two spaces if im out of the way and its not too busy. and i would never park next to a 7 seater with 3 years worth of grime on it!
im very particular where i park! ;)
-
Looks the mutts nuts!
I wish I had chosen black!!
-
Very very nice, I do like the Grey grill area.
:jumpmove: :happy2: :happy2:

Zymol seems to be a very good product range...

-
I'll be honest, black is like the antiCandy for me...but yours looks lush
-

Manu - they are 18s
Stance looks amazing doesn't it!!!!! ....even though they are 18's, he somehow manages to make them look bigger with the lowering/cleanliness! I, too, asked the very same question in another thread!
-
They look bigger than my 19's. A good drop will soon sort that out though :happy2:
-
Looks great nice work ! Whee did you get the red GTI badge from ?
Regards,
Gareth
-
Excellent pics. Black really does show off the reflections when uber clean. :happy2:
-

-
a full machine polish, and a great wax/sealant.
and a whole heap of time, money and sweat! ;)
