Title: Are these Drl lights a really bad idea or not!!!!!

Aftermarket can look good. Have you seen these on a car & illuminated? If you like them go for it! I chose a different but similar set

i had some the same on my gti when i bought it. They looked great. One problem i could not see where i was going. I live in the sticks so they were no good. If you live in town then great.

Standard Golf headlights are turd as well mind  :wink:

This is my first golf so I cant really compare, but the DRL lights i had only had one main beam bulb, they looked excactly like the ones on the op. On main beam they were less than dipped on the standard one i now have.

I was gutted to take them off, they did look good with the LED's on them. They just were no good for where i live.
