Welcome.
Yeah dealers don't know much I very nearly bought an 09 plate R32 last year that was quite well specced apart from armrest with del miles. Didn't go for it cos the dealer said retofit was nigh on impossible costing over £1k.
Since I've bought the Ed30 I've taken most out of the interior to bits fitting RNS, MDI, BT, RVC, Sub/Amp etc so the armrest is not really that bad considering.
Parts can be bought resonably and there are plenty of guides and members around - go for it!!

Hello and welocome im a newbie too, looking for a E30 myself any advice?

Hi and welcome. Remember to post up some pics. Everyone knows black is the fastest.
I thought the armrest was standard on the ED30?

thanks for the warm welcome , photos coming soon , can anyone give me advice on fitting the armrest as i like to do things myself , how hard , straight swap for cup/ bottle holder and where to buy one at a good price ?
also does anyone know if the rcd 510 is a straight swap for the rcd 300 ? or do i need any mods to fit with it to get signal , stop battery drain etc .
any help would be great :-)

Welcome.
Arm rest isn't too big a deal, certainly do able at home. Unless you want the ducts fitting to allow the aircon to blow through the vents, in which case it's a seats out job.
510 is a sraight swap usually. There can be battery drain issues with earlier can bus types. A quick search of the forum should bring a wealth of info/advice. If in doubt, ask! :happy2:

welcome to the forum..if i had listened to the dealers my car would still be standard :signLOL:

I have had quite a few big bikes, but also had a few close calls :scared:
I'd like to think that I am gonna stick to cars from now on, but I can't make any promises. When I was in hospital last, I thought I would never walk again, never mind ride. But even now 2yrs later I am starting to get the itch that only a bike can scratch......must resist :ashamed:
Always fancied a factory r tuono  lots of nice bits on them :notworthy:
