oem or aftermarket?  tried and tested or something competely different?  I like a set of BBS myself, but wheels are very personal.

Wheels are a personal taste I reckon. Although most people would agree monza shadows look great on the MK5.

You can get the stickers from VC. There is a thread dedicated to it!

I'm in the same boat pal, got a about a year to decide though, I'm not putting any on for the winter and got new bridgestones on the 17s so gonna stick with them for a bit..... I'm feeling the BBS CH and the audi split rims i think, one thing i don't want is any rubbing or anything, also bit weary about reps in case they are crap quality.....  just keep looking on the net and take your time pal.

I have owned reps before and have had no trouble with them, they are just a bit heavier than normal, Though I wouldn't go for fake splits or anything like that.
There literally are hundreds of wheels for you to choose from. I have been through about 7 sets in 18 months, as I change my mind that much. I go on edition38s forum and look in the MK5 section as it has a picture thread about 70 pages long, Alternatively you can look in the colours thread on this forum and see all the different setups there.

ive had 3 sets in under 18months and already looking for other options.
i think it very much depends on the drop you have and for me esp the colour of your car.
certain wheels look fab on white but not so on red etc etc.
i love big al's new amg rims and they look ace ... but theyd look better on mine mwahahahahahahahahahahah
so ill keep my eye on him as he gets bored heehee.
i also desp want some alphards but loved my lm reps so a lot of research and a lot of umming and errring will happen, you definatley decide on a set only two days later to see a diff car and fall in love all over again.
as women say you cant have enough shoes.... and my girl is the same. i,m keeping the lms when they are refurbed and i want a new set once winter is over.. :sad1:

At the moment my fave wheels are 18 in Monza 2 Shadows , 19 in VW Helios and the Ed 30 standard wheel (BBS) I have the stock 17s on mine just now , having seen the price of new decent quality wheels I reckond 2nd hand off a forum member is the way to go , even if they need a refurb your saving hundreds of pounds.
