Title: Writing messages/emails
Post by: dajonic on October 03, 2010, 03:00:40 pm
Is it possible to extend the box in which you write messages? After you get through a few lines the scroll bar runs out and you end up writing off the bottom of the message box. It then keeps flicking up and down everytime you want to add more lines.

Thanks.

Do you use the "Quick Reply" box, which is meant for shorter messages, or the standard "reply" box which is larger and has more features?

.
On Mac OS X you can drag the corner of the Reply box to suit whatever space you need.

I think this may depend on both your web browser and computer operating system.

Quick reply is just for that - quick replies. If you are going to post something much larger, it'll be easier to use the normal reply box.

No it does it for me too on normal reply.

I suppose I could stop waffling and write less.

Strange - I get that when using the normal reply when using IE8 - but not when using Firefox . . .  :sad1:
