Not sure why it's happened so suddenly or whether something else has triggered it off.
Twice now the alarm has suddenly gone off. Both times were on a Friday whilst I was queuing at the chippy. Each time the car has been parked in exactly the same spot and has gone off within 2-3 mins of parking there.
Each time, I've noticed a huge-ass lorry go past the car. No damage to the car or anything but did wonder whether certain frequency vibrations could set it off.
I have parked at the same spot at least once a month for the last five months without issue, so don't know why it's happened now.
Anyone had similar issues?

I live to the side of a 90 degree corner in my village on which lorries regularly dont both to drop a few cogs when going round resulting in them drowning with that deep bassy noise, TDI drivers know the sound :signLOL:
but anyway iv know this to set a car alarm off before so that may be your answer

Yeah thought it was the heavy lorries but didn't know if anyone else had issues.

Check via vagcom, it'll give you the trigger that set your alarm off.
I have just turned down my interior monitor to 75% as it kept triggering my alarm for no reason, so far so good.
Worth just having it looked at

Will do. It's only happened twice, so I'm not overly concerned about it. Might get dealers to have a stab when it goes in for servicing.
