Title: Another way to retrofit a Highline dash to post '06 cars
Post by: kevinm on October 04, 2010, 11:56:02 pm
Hi all,
Had an independent code Highline clocks to my '07 ED30 today. They can only retrofit 972 or older clocks but they can do any age of car.

They replaced the 963 clocks in my car with 972 ones.

They said they used the dealer VAS system to transfer the immo data to the 972 clocks. They didnt have to code the keys. I forgot to ask how they changed the mileage :ashamed:

I was having trouble finding 973 clocks at a resonable price and there isn't anybody in Ireland with the new VAG Commander.

So is it they just need the new VAG commander to do 973s?

Interesting stuff think I need to start looking again.
